The next job on our ever lengthening update list was to re-design the pushpit. Our long term plans are to circumnavigate the world, so we wanted to have somewhere to store the tender (on the shopping list!) but be able to lift it up and down easily. Again, we researched and decided on Simpson Davits (225 tall, electric).
Obviously, this decision led to many other jobs: strengthening elbows to fix the davits to, moving the liferaft cradle, changing the angle of the pushpit and extending the rear seats. Clearly, not jobs that we could do, so over to the stainless team at Fox’s.
The pictures above are:
Before: The original pushpit with gate and liferaft cradle.
During: Cutting away the pushpit, ready for the new one.
After: Davits, extended seating, new angled rails and re-positioned liferaft cradle.
PS Feeling very impressed as I have learnt how to put the pictures into a carousel! Click on one to enlarge it. Who says you can’t teach an old dog new tricks?
Now all I need to do is work out how to get single line spacing when I press return!!!
